Harnessing our expertise in scalable Design Systems, we embarked on a transformative journey with Hastings Direct, the UK's leading agile, data-driven insurance provider. Embracing the challenge of consistency across a variety of product types and touchpoints, we meticulously crafted a design system in Figma, ultimately translating it into Storybook.js. This robust structure, encompassing foundations, components, and templates, not only fortified the uniformity but also amplified efficiencies in their delivery efforts.
In just a month, we identified and implemented the most common design patterns into the initial Figma design system. This strategic approach led to a staggering 62% increase in efficiency across delivery teams, a testament to the value of our solution early on.
